A quick update on the challenge I made to my partners: They ACCEPTED! We're all focused on creating five new clients in the next 60 days.
Since then, the activity level and excitement has returned. We have several meetings setup for next week and we actually closed one deal (it was already in the works). Simple, but effective. Is there a challenge you can use to get your business moving?
Other stuff the challenge brought up: Not only did they accept the challenge, they were feeling some of the same "stuff" that was getting in our way. They wholeheartedly agreed that we were creating our own reality. So, if you're not a solopreneur and you have an inkling that something is going on (or NOT going on) in your business, check in with your partners or co-owners. It's likely that they will feel the same thing - or at least be able to discuss why you're feeling it.
Here's to millions from scratch!
You are completely correct. I recently (6 months ago) dissolved a business partnership. We had owned a business for 8 months. I had been feeling the problems, that caused me to leave the business, for 5 months. If I would have discussed it with my partner I would have found out I was right and he was using me.
It is like a quote from Colin Powell "Make a decision when you are 40 to 70% sure. Do it before 40% and you don't have all the information after 70% and your too late the decision has probably been made for you."
